dc.description.abstractThe qualification thesis is devoted to the development of a three-tier web-oriented information system for business process automation, accounting, and data flow administration in a travel agency. Within the framework of the study, a systemic analysis was conducted, requirements were formalized, and a hierarchical three-level model of information exchange was constructed using DFD methodology. At the logical design stage, the database structure was brought to the Third Normal Form (3NF) via conceptual decomposition, eliminating data redundancy and anomalies. Physical deployment was performed in MySQL DBMS using the InnoDB transactional engine (ACID standard) and B-Tree indexes to optimize query execution time. The server logic implementation was completed in Python using the Flask microframework with the integration of connection pooling to ensure stable response times. The client interface was designed as a responsive web frontend using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 5 components, and server-side rendering with the Jinja2 template engine. Comprehensive testing and OWASP security auditing confirmed the system's fault tolerance and its absolute immunity to SQL Injection attacks due to the use of parameterized queries (Prepared Statements). Priority directions for further modernization into a distributed ERP platform were also determined.
