dc.description.abstract1The methodological recommendations describe contemporary technologies in the context of the modernisation of higher education; the advantages of using information and communication technologies in teaching are identified; the specific features of project-based activities and the incorporation of web quests into lessons are outlined; the nature of distance learning as a targeted process of interactive (professional) engagement between lecturers and students is substantiated; various types of media content are analysed: infographics, mind mapping and internet memes, which are designed to accompany the presentation of theoretical material in educational components; the specific features of assessing the competence level of learners (test-based assessment) are investigated, and the advantages of gamification in the educational process are demonstrated; attention has been drawn to the observance of academic culture within the educational institution.
