The article presents a theoretical and experimental approach to the mathematical modeling of interatomic interactions in solids at the microscale, an important area of modern materials science, condensed matter physics, and solid mechanics. Existing approaches to describing interatomic forces are analyzed, demonstrating that classical continuum models are insufficient to accurately characterize the physical and mechanical properties of materials at the atomic scale, where interatomic bond characteristics, atomic arrangements, and interaction features play a decisive role. Attention is paid to the use of interatomic interaction potentials to determine interaction forces between atoms and to calculate the stiffness coefficients of interatomic bonds in structural units of matter. The Morse potential is employed to describe the energy state of the atomic system and to reproduce the fundamental features of interatomic interactions. This potential adequately accounts for both attractive and repulsive forces acting between atoms at different interatomic distances. Based on an analytical investigation of the Morse potential, mathematical relationships are derived to determine the force characteristics and stiffness coefficients of interatomic bonds in the presence of external gravitational and electrostatic fields. The proposed mathematical model combines the theoretical foundations of the atomistic approach with the ability to incorporate experimental data to refine the parameters of interatomic interaction potentials. Such an approach improves the accuracy of calculations and enhances the agreement between simulation results and the actual physical processes occurring in materials. The model enables the determination of the spatial distribution of stiffness coefficients within structural elements of matter, the calculation of natural frequencies of atomic vibrations, and the analysis of the influence of external forces on the dynamics of atomic systems. The results obtained provide a basis for investigating the mechanical, elastic, and dynamic properties of materials at the micro- and nanoscale levels, predicting the behavior of microstructures under external loads and thermal and electromagnetic effects, and improving methods for mathematical modeling of interatomic interactions. The proposed approach can be applied to the development of new materials with tailored physical and mechanical properties, optimization of their structure, and assessment of their reliability under various operating conditions.
