Викладено ставлення авторів до окремих положень Закону «Про вищу освіту» та недосконалостей систем менеджменту ЗВО, що негативно позначаються на їх конкурентній спроможності.uk_UA
dc.description.abstract1The purpose of this article is to analyze the current course of events in the educational sphere and to predict its consequences for domestic higher education institutionsBased on the results of the analysis of the information contained in the reports of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine and on the author's own observation, an assessment of the external conditions in which the activity of domestic higher educational institutions takes place was made. The conclusion is based on the fact that in the p resent circumstances they have to use not only the actual methods of managing the educational process, but also the marketing of educational services. The views on the content of certain provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education" as the document summing up the long-term discussion about the prospects of forming professional competences of the new generation of specialists are outlined. The defects of management of universities are marked. It is stressed that insufficient attention to its improvement in the conditions characterized by the fierce competition in the market of educational services may reduce the attention of school-leavers to educational institutions with all the ensuing economic consequences. The strengthening of attention to the application of innovative methods of management, on the contrary, will increase its popularity.uk_UA
