dc.description.abstractСтаття досліджує процес розвитку лексичної компетенції іноземної мови серед студентів морського інженерного профілю у процесі вивчення професійної англійської. Обґрунтовується важливість оволодіння спеціалізованою термінологією для успішної діяльності в міжнародному морському контексті. У дослідженні розглядається структура лексичної компетенції, етапи її розвитку та сучасні підходи до навчання, що передбачають використання онлайн-платформ. Особлива увага приділяється цифровим ресурсам як інструментам підвищення мотивації студентів та сприяння самостійному навчанню. Стаття також пропонує рекомендації щодо впровадження ігрових та інтерактивних методик у підготовку майбутніх морських інженерів.
dc.description.abstract1The article examines the process of developing foreign-language lexical competence among marine engineering students in the course of studying professional English. It justifies the importance of acquiring specialized terminology for successful performance in the international maritime context. The study examines the structure of lexical competence, the phases of its development, and contemporary teaching approaches that involve online platforms. Particular emphasis is placed on digital resources as tools for enhancing learners' motivation and fostering independent study. The article also offers recommendations for incorporating gamebased and interactive techniques into the education of future marine engineers.
