The Professional Development of Academic and Teaching Staff in the Context of the Digital Economy : Guidelines / G. Iefymova, V. Ivata, V. Komyshnyk, A. Trushliakova. – Mykolaiv: Ilion, 2026. – 88 p.
dc.description.abstract1These methodological guidelines address current issues relating to the transformation of the professional practice of higher education lecturers in the context of the digitalisation of the economy and society. It analyses the changing role of the modern lecturer – from a traditional source of knowledge to a facilitator, mentor and designer of digital learning environment. Particular attention is paid to the adaptation of the European framework for digital competences, DigCompEdu, for lecturers in economic disciplines, as well as the integration of innovative technologies, in particular artificial intelligence, learning management systems (LMS) and educational data analytics, into the teaching process. The publication contains practical approaches to implementing advanced teaching methods (PBL, Flipped Classroom, Microlearning) and recommendations for establishing continuing professional development (CPD) systems at university level. Work is intended for higher education institution administrators, academic and teaching staff, specialists at teaching excellence centres, and anyone interested in the digital transformation of higher education.
