У статті розглянуто поняття політичного медіа-дискурсу, його цільові орієнтири та характеристики. У якості основної ознаки політичного медіа-дискурсу наведена мовна маніпуляція; обговорюються передумови та механізми її реалізації. Як приклад мовної маніпуляції проаналізовано вживання стилістичних засобів формування негативного іміджу країни у ЗМІ
The article considers the notion of the political media discourse, its aims and characteristics. The linguistic manipulation is viewed as the main feature of the political media discourse; prerequisites and techniques of its implementation are discussed. As an example of the linguistic manipulation, the use of stylistic devices of the negative country image formation in the media is analyzed.
