dc.description.abstract1The historical conditions for the deployment of urbanization processes in the south of Ukraine and their specificity are considered; factors influencing urban processes. Changes in the structure and their consequences for southern Ukrainian cities are investigated. A set of reforms that affected the development of urban settlements in the region.
