dc.description.abstract1An approach to the description of the graphical user interface of the ship electric power plant parameters monitoring system operator's automated workstation is considered. The developed model of the operator's automated workstation is a system of interconnected elements and relations between them, and can be used both for high-level design and description of the operator's interaction with the system, and for low-level design and description of the interaction of system elements at various levels of decomposition. A distinctive feature of the proposed model is the reflection in it the internal structure oof the graphical user interface elements and their behavior algorithms using the same mathematical description.
