У статті здійснено аналіз діяльності студентського самоврядування у 80-х роках ХХ століття. Визначено основні форми діяльності студентського самоврядування, спрямовані на забезпечення здорового способу життя студентів та охорону правопорядку в досліджуваний період.
The article analyzes the activity of bodies of student self-government in higher educational institutions of Ukraine in the period 2011-2015; determined trends and patterns of student self-government in the period under investigation. The activities of voluntary peoples’ unions took place thanks to the strengthening of the movement of voluntary national unions in the territory of the former Soviet Union in the 1980s: in 1984, 282 thousand unions functioned consisting of 40 thousand Komsomol troops, 50 thousand and 13 million soldiers. Each higher education institution had its own union, which united faculty squads and a volunteer dormitory. The structure of the union was recommended by the administration, the party bureau, the assembly of the Komsomol organization of the faculties. Reception was carried out on applications, with the acceptance of each lieutenant solemn commitment. All survivors had certificates, badges, passed physical and legal training. Student law enforcement helped to prevent delinquency, especially in the youth environment, and increased the weight of self-governing activity. In addition, the police received trained and committed personnel to their ranks.
