dc.description.abstractУ статті розглянуто нові практики з еколого-правового просвітництва студентства, що є своєчасним в умовах воєнного стану, руйнувань і знищення природних ресурсів і довкілля. За результатами аналізу тематичного сегмента книжкового фонду бібліотеки підтверджено її значення як скарбниці знань та консолідатора при формуванні й розвитку сучасного простору еколого-правового просвітництва.
dc.description.abstract1The article attempts to provide some experience of the library work of the Yaroslav the Wise National Law University as a treasury of knowledge and a modern space of environmental and legal education. The author links new practices and formats of library activities to the conditions of martial law and to the destruction of natural resources and the environment. In this regard, attention is focused on the fact that the modern university library is a fundamental book collection and builds a relevant space for the environmental and legal education of students.The author of the article believes that the goal of such actions is ecological and legal education, which should become a true guide to a sustainable future and the formation of a modern lawyer with new ecological worldviews. It is noted that library managers in environmental, legal, and educational work primarily orient applicants to comply with the norms of environmentally responsible behavior. This includes, in particular, various actions to protect one's own health and the environment, as well as the ability to ensure the legal regime and effective protection of the subjects rights and interests of environmental and legal relations. The author accentes that the university library is the vanguard of implementing innovative programs and activities. It does not stand aside in the processes of adapting work forms to the military present: forms and uses the library's funds in the direction of disclosing the field of environmental and legal topics; cooperates with the University's Department of Environmental Law and the Center for Sustainable Development and Environmental Law; expands and deepens the students knowledge of various specialties about ecological values, environmental protection, protection of natural resources, etc. Such environmental and educational activities as information hours, eco-actions, thematic lectures, discussions, conversations, book exhibitions, debates, and quizzes on current environmental and legal topics have become popular among the student community. The library also supports the concept of «green libraries». They are enthusiastically joined by university youth, which significantly increases their understanding of environmental conservation priorities and the benefits of sustainable development, which significantly affects the understanding of complex and responsible actions to preserve and protect natural resources and the environment in the context of a global military crisis. In conclusion, the author emphasizes that the cooperation of the library, teachers, and students provides an opportunity to form a new ecological culture and a new ecological worldview together, which are built on the principles of respect, humanism, and environmental protection. The conclusion is that the library, the university, and the students are the circle that formes a conscious, «ecological» future, where knowledge becomes a tool for action, responsibility, and inspiration. At the same time, the library's mission is to consolidate the university community to the problems of studying and ensuring the ecological and legal directed activities, of cultivating knowledge and skills to use acquired ecological and legal competencies in the difficult conditions of modern challenges.
