dc.description.abstract1The article aim is to develop a conceptual basis for the organization of the value-driven management, aimed at improving the performance of ongoing projects. The issues in the value management associated with the lack of research in the field of planning and forecasting the project output value are shown. The article develops the existing concepts and suggests new ones related to the value management: project output value, expected and perceived value, total value, value curve and others. The importance of the expected value and its relation to the minimum viable product (MVP) is represented. The structure of the project output as a combination of the minimal viable product and a set of minimum marketing features is considered. On the basis of a multilevel structure of the output value, there is suggested the notion of a value profile as a vector of subjective estimations of the party concerned that characterizes the output value. There is shown an approach to determination of the output total value as a vector value of the weighted sum of all the values that are important to the party concerned. А general form of the total value curve which characterizes the value lifecycle and its key stages and points is proposed. The value control key points which form a set of project milestones, where the obligatory output value control is supposed, are highlighted. The notion of value hysteresis, characterizing the total amount of perceived value, and the management logic aimed at maximizing the value of a product at the exploitation phase are suggested. The methods of value calculation and visualization for decision-making in project management are represented. The research results can be used to develop models for value forecasting and management, and form the conceptual basis for the establishment and development of the proactive value-driven project management.uk_UA
